Mark Cicotello, Founder and Principal at Spark HR Consulting, LLC brings extensive Human Resource knowledge and a distinctive personal touch to Human Resources. With over 25 years of diverse Human Resource experience and strong business acumen, Mark can quickly assess and resolve complex issues.

Prior to starting Spark HR Consulting, LLC Mark was the Vice President of Human Resources at Heska Corporation. Heska is a publicly traded medical device/pharmaceutical company located in Loveland, Colorado. He also worked for G.D. Searle/Monsanto as the global Technical Operations Human Resource leader for the launch of Celebrex. He began his Human Resource career at Digital Equipment Corporation.

Mark has achieved several professional certifications including: Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), Global Professional Human Resources (GPHR) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). He has received and Executive MBA from the University of Colorado and an under graduate degree in Psychology from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania (Go Rock!).

Because of Mark’s deep Human Resource experience across multiple industries and corporate environments he is well positioned to support small- to medium-sized growth firms in diverse industries.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mark and his wife Sandra moved to Colorado in 1993 with there three children, Nathaniel, Michael and Kate. Sandra is pre-school teacher and a cancer survivor/volunteer. Mark is a runner with 6 marathons to his credit, recently started to play the mandolin and has been the Elder Chairman at Broomfield Community Church for the past 7 years.
